Immersive Technologies transforms the way people connect with complex information, making it more intuitive and meaningful.

This project takes a jet engine from SolidWorks into virtual reality (VR), demonstrating the power of digitisation and digital twins. It showcases how CAD models, photogrammetry, LiDAR scans, and reference-based modelling can create interactive, data-rich experiences that go beyond simple visualisation.

  • Context-Sensitive Tablet – Displays an X-ray view, expanding into an exploded diagram for deeper understanding.
  • Digital Twin Integration – Connects to BIM and database information via interactive callouts.

  • Multi-Use 3D Asset Pipeline – Capturing and optimising a model right can be used across pre-rendered visuals, real-time VR, and web-based remote access.
