Bringing spaces to life with 360° visualisation, from concept to reality.

I use 360° imagery to capture our spaces so people can actually see and understand them, without needing to be there in person.

For existing locations, I capture real-world environments using 360 cameras, creating immersive walkthroughs that let people explore a space at their own pace. When a space doesn’t exist yet, or is still just a concept, I use CGI and equirectangular renders to build the same kind of 360 experience, giving people a clear sense of scale, layout, and intent before anything is built.

These tours can be shared easily through platforms like SharePoint Spaces or Google Maps, making them lightweight, accessible, and usable across phones, desktops, and headsets. I often layer in points of interest and contextual content so viewers can dig deeper into specific areas or features, rather than just passively looking around.

The goal is to help people understand spaces faster, make better decisions, and feel more connected to what’s being proposed or delivered. This approach has been well received by both the community and stakeholders, especially when time, access, or geography would otherwise get in the way.

My Role:

I led the end-to-end 360° capture and visualisation process, drawing from my expertise in photography and real-time 3D modelling. I ensured alignment by mapping 360° points of interest and navigation meshes, allowing users to intuitively navigate virtual spaces. My work covered everything from hardware setup and Photoshop post-processing to integrating the final outputs into stakeholder platforms.

Scope:

  • 360° Capture & Processing – Using Insta360 Pro and Photoshop for refinement
  • Pre-Construction Visualisation – Creating equirectangular renders to preview spaces before construction
  • Real-Time 3D Modelling – Generating accurate building models for immersive walkthroughs
  • Navigation & Alignment – Capturing 360° points of interest and navigation meshes for seamless user experience
  • Fast & Lightweight Deployment – Ensuring widely accessible solutions for stakeholders
  • Enhanced Exploration – Expanding with key points of interest and feature-rich content
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Publishing interactive captures in SharePoint Spaces, Google Maps, and other platforms
  • Immersive Communication – Allowing stakeholders to remotely explore and understand spaces with ease
